NASA astronaut Donald Pettit is a veteran of two long-duration stays on the International Space station. During his time in space, Don invented the Zero-G Coffee Cup and for the first time, it allowed astronauts to drink liquids the same way they do on Earth. Since that initial model, the coffee cup has gone through a few different evolutions and will continue to be used in space. On episode 106, Don also talks about his duties as an active astronaut in line to go back up to space, his thoughts on the future of space exploration, and if we are truly alone in the universe.
