On this week's science episode, first, we head to the bottom of
the Baltic Sea. An incredible 500-year-old ship has been preserved
and remains almost intact, a surprising find for a wooden ship from
that long ago. With the smaller boat and deck guns still visible in
the submarine videos, it's both haunting and beautiful to behold.
The team that is investigating this find will be pulling more data
and hopefully be able to shed light on this tumultuous time in
history in that region.
Then, let's head up to the stars to celebrate the one year
anniversary of the TESS mission. NASA launched TESS, the Transiting
Exoplanets Survey Satellite has discovered 24 exoplanets already
with hundreds more that need to be verified.
